This poem was written by me after the deaths of my parents , it has been published by the American poets society .
Sometimes i sit here and wonder
what life on the other side is like
do they just sit all day and ponder
about what it was like to ride a bike
or how the breeze felt upon there face
what is was like to run wild and carefree
to laugh and giggle or play kiss chace
or to smell the flowers to climb up a tree
i sit wishing they could still do these things
maybe they just sit around upon a cloud
making angels wings from silky strings
there seeing us from there fluffy seats above
watching there granchildren a glow with pride
knowing our prayers send them our eternal love
